May 20, 1809 Josiah Sherman signed letter to Roger Minott Sherman, Albany NY (circular date stamp) to Fairfield Connecticut (Autographed Letter Signed).  Their father was Rev. Josiah Sherman, chaplain of the 7th Connecticut in the Revolutionary War and brother to  founder Roger Sherman.  Josiah was a merchant in Albany, NY and Roger Minott was active in Fairfield and Connecticut politics.  Condition as pictured.
